Make sure your fence is working properly
Winter is coming so make sure your fence is working properly before the ground freezes.
This is why at Freedom Fence we show you the steps to verify the correct operation of your fence:
Step 1: Transmitter check: Make sure that the dial on the right side is in the correct position; it should never be in the 9 or 10 position. Most settings are around 2 to 4, but some customers have increased the dial to 10 trying to turn off the broken wire alert.
Step 2: disconnect one of the two wires connected to the bottom of the transmitter. If the transmitter beeps and the loop light goes off, your transmitter is working properly; if it doesn’t beep, it means the transmitter got hit by lighting and is not working.
Take the dog collar and go to the boundary’s holding the collar at the same level as your dog’s neck, trying to hear the warning sound.
